Celluloplast had the honor of participating in the 18th edition of the International Pharmacy Exhibition in Algeria (SIPHAL), which was held from February 14 to 17, 2024 at the Palais des expositions, SAFEX, Algiers.
Under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production as well as the Minister of Health, SIPHAL 2024 focused on the “issues of the internationalization of the Algerian pharmaceutical industry”. This platform has made it possible to encourage exchanges and the sharing of experiences on issues related to the internationalization of our pharmaceutical industry.
During the opening ceremony, the director of SIPHAL, Yacine Louber, underlined the importance of this event as a “citizen’s fair”, aiming to extend the efforts made by the competent authorities to promote the singular Algerian model to the regional and continental scale, as well as to support the export initiatives of local operators towards new markets.
During the four days of the program, “crucial” themes were covered, providing an in-depth understanding of current issues and emerging opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry sector in Algeria. Topics such as the state of pharmaceutical exports, pharmacovigilance in Algeria, the essential role of the CNAS in the social care of citizens, bioequivalence studies, the interest and constraints of the internalization of research activities and development, as well as the internationalization strategy of the medical devices market were examined by national and international experts.
